WILLIAM FU- PIANIST
THE ARC| FLUTE & PIANO DUO
As a creative and dynamic duo, the Arc is formed by Hong Kong-born flautist Marco Chun-Yin Leung and pianist William Kat-Ho Fu with the primary aim in connecting flute and piano music with their audience. Since 2015, they have been collaborating over a wide range of repertoire, from standard works by C.P.E. Bach, Prokofiev and Widor to light-hearted music by Muramatsu, Piazzolla and Shocker.
After both graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017, Marco and William continue their collaboration in London, where they are both pursuing their Master of Music. The Arc treasures the flexibility and innovation of both artists which always create captivating performances for their audience. They are open to a variety of musical style and are eager in exploring new possibilities out of the box.
In the past, the Arc has performed at venues including St. Mary Abbots Church, Hong Kong City Hall Recital Hall and Lee Hysan Concert Hall. The Arc is now preparing for a new recital series which feature recent works by composers from Hong Kong along with celebrated masterpieces of the existing duo literature. The upcoming project includes a relaxing classical concert “Chill out!” to be held in Fringe Club in Hong Kong and several lunchtime recitals across churches in United Kingdom.
